Today, March 19th, marks the beginning of my weight loss journey using intermittent fasting, and I am excited to share this journey with you all. I wanted to start by explaining why I decided to try intermittent fasting and what my plan is.
Like many people, I have struggled with my weight for 2 years. I have tried various diets and exercise plans, but nothing has seemed to work for me in the long run. I found that I was constantly counting calories and feeling guilty about what I ate, which left me feeling unmotivated and defeated.
Intermittent fasting caught my attention because it's not about counting calories or restricting what you eat. It's a pattern of eating that focuses on when you eat. I plan to start with the 16/8 method, where I will fast for 16 hours and eat during an 8-hour window. This means that I will skip breakfast and have my first meal around noon, then finish eating by 8 pm.
I am excited to see how my body will respond to this new approach, and I am committed to sticking with it for the long haul. I know that there will be challenges along the way, but I am keeping a positive and hopeful mindset. I believe that intermittent fasting will help me establish a healthy relationship with food and lead to long-term weight loss and overall health benefits.
In a month, I plan to give you all an update on my progress and share any lessons I have learned along the way. I am excited to see where this journey takes me and am looking forward to sharing it with you all.
